Kaṭhina is a Buddhist festival held at the end of Vassa, the three-month rainy season retreat.     The Vegetarian Festival, also known as the Nine Emperor Gods Festival, is a significant religious event celebrated in various parts of Thailand, including Hat Yai.     2018年8月23日23:30，一代长老尼释法云法师于江西萍乡圆通寺安详示寂，终年72岁。

    法云法师生平：

    法云法师，成都人，生于1947年7月16日。20世纪80年代初由四川大学历史学硕士毕业，曾任大学讲师。后出家并移居海外，曾游化东南亚、北美洲、欧洲、澳洲等地。晚年主要在云南、湖南、广东、江西等地弘法。

    法师先后担任澳门佛教文化研究会会长、世界华文作家协会会员、泰国国际佛教大学客座教授等职务。法师热心于僧伽教育，主讲《僧伽教育》《佛学与医学》《禅林宝训》《儒家教育与传统文化的人文精神》等课程。

    法云法师道德高尚、才艺超群，其佛化文学作品散见于新加坡、马来西亚等地报刊杂志。曾以《遥远的星》荣获宝岛佛光文学奖小说头等奖。法师还著作有《菩提树荫》《云影尘痕》《光明行》《心泉集》《世界象一面镜子》《呵护心灵之光》等书籍。她主编的《心源》丛书，已有《生命之光》《心灵清泉》《恒河之月》《心中点灯》（精选篇）等问世。

    近几年，法师在凤凰、新浪、QQ空间上以“天地客”、“静夜钟”、“青莲苑”等笔名发表不少图文并茂的散文、论文，受到读者的青睐。
